Already...

this week:

Ty received his orange belt at Tae Kwon Do,

and my brother, Chase, came home from Texas and met Paige for the first time.

And by the way, aren't these boys cute!

So Many Apples...

so many recipes to make! We made these this week:

Last night: Pork Tenderloin with Apples and Craisins (given to me by Yvonne Ashton):

1-1 1/2 lb pork tenderloin

2 Tbsp corn starch

2 Tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

2 apples--peeled, cored and sliced

2 Tbsp raisins or dried cranberries

Preheat oven to 400. Mix all ingredients together (I always double or triple the ingredients). Spoon around tenderloin in baking dish. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Spoon mixture over tenderloin. Bake uncovered 15-20 more minutes.

What do you do...

on a Saturday when you live with three boys (yes, I said THREE boys--Keith counts as one of the boys on Saturdays)? Spend all day watching them play sports. I told Paige she might as well get used to this...

Picture Time

I finally got around to getting Paige's three month pictures (almost a month late, as usual--atleast I'm consistant with all my children). As usual, there were too many to choose from! Here are some of my favorites.

Carter Starts Soccer

Carter started soccer this past Saturday. He was so excited to get shin guards like Ty and looked so cute in his outfit. As most of you know, Carter is a little animal and is a natural at sports, but apparently suffers from a little stage fright. He did great at the skills practice, but when the game began and he took the ball down the field he suddenly realized everyone was watching and ran to hide behind my leg. The whole thing was very entertaining, at any point during the game there were a minimum of five preschoolers clinging to their parents. Can't wait until next week.

Apple Hill

I LOVE fall! I love everything about it (except for the impending snow). I love all the activities, the colors, the food, the sweaters and jackets, the holidays--everything. Today was our first "fall" activity for the year. The kids and I met Keith's brother's and sister's families and his mom at Apple Hill after school for some apple picking.

Ty had been earlier in the week with a school field trip and was so excited to go back with us and show us around. The boys had a blast with Pops and their cousins and got tons of apples!

The best part: tons of apples=tons of yummy apple dishes. First up, tonight: Tastefully Simple's Nana's Apple Cake--one of my favorites. If anyone's interested, my sister is selling Tastefully Simple now.

The Islands

This weekend Keith and I got some time away while the boys were at my parents. We went up to the islands with Whitney and Travis (and the girls). It was a beautiful weather, and nice to just relax and enjoy good company.

Apples and Brownies

With Ty at school everyday, Carter and Paige and I get to hang out. Friday we went with some of our neighbors and friends to the Apple Fesitval. Instead of eating healthy apples, we indulged in greasy funnel cakes, homemade chips and yummy kettle corn.

Sunday was Great Grandma Bielozer's birthday party and then family dinner at our house with my family, and of course our boys had to wear their Browns gear. Sissy and I decided we didn't want to be left out, so I sported Ty's Quinn jersey and Sissy wore her cheerleader outfit. Presley joined in the fun too. I'm so mad I didn't take a picture of everyone, but I did manage some not so good shots of the girls and some of Carter giving them some attention.
