POTD: Fans

Some of Ty's adoring fans at his second basketball game of the season (Uncle Brian, Aunt Lisa, Paigers and cousin AJ). He was so excited to score the first basket of the game. We're proud that he scored half of the team's points!

POTD: Movie Night

Instead of going to movie night at Ty's school, we opted for movie night in the basement. So much more comfortable (and better refreshments!).

We watched "Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs." When it was over I asked Ty what he would want it to "rain." His answer: pickles, double cheeseburgers, corn dogs and milk. Me? Chocolate covered strawberries!

POTD: Jump

Keith set up the bounce house to occupy the kiddos while I was at work.

POTD: Sick

Me and this have gotten very close today! I hate throwing up!

POTD: No Girls Allowed

Carter made this sign for his bedroom today. Actually, he made three of them, he must be serious!

POTD: Happy Birthday to Me!

After giving me some GREAT birthday gifts Keith took me and the fam to one of my favorite restaurants for a yummy dinner. This was my view during that yummy dinner. After we went to Cold Stone for dessert. Yum!

POTD: Aunt Beth Cake

This will be my breakfast tomorrow: My mom had us over for a delicious birthday dinner tonight. In our family we have an Aunt Beth cake for every birthday. It is my very favorite, but it is even better for breakfast!

POTD: Paigers

I've been wanting to try sponge curlers on Paige, so I finally did, and this is what we got.

Those of you who I talk to on a reuglar basis know that this little girl tries my patience, but I hope you all know how much I adore and cherish her too. She is strong-willed, determined, independent and bosy. She is also sweet, loving, and hysterical. I love the way she pats my back when I hold her or drops whatever she is doing to dance when she hears any music. She loves her brothers, her baby dolls, shoes and jewelry. We love her!

POTD: Ron White

Until I can figure out how to get pictures from my phone to my computer, this picture will have to do.

For Christmas I gave Keith tickets to see Ron White (one of Keith's favorite comedians), from the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. I have to admit, although very crude and mostly inappropriate, he was just as funny as the last time we saw him. Keith said he was glad when he was over because his side and cheeks hurt from laughing so much.

POTD: Lunch with Ty

Today was lunch with mom and dad at Ty's school. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera at lunch, so Carter snapped a few of us when we got home. Paige enjoyed eating Burger King at Ty's school too. The whole time I was sitting in the cafeteria with him I couldn't help but think how old my little guy is getting. It's hard to believe he has this whole part of his life that I'm not a part of everyday. Sad.

POTD: Paper and Tape

My children's new favorite obsession: paper and tape. We have gone through three rolls of tape in the last week alone. I love all their creations, usually masks, airplanes or signs. Today Carter and his little friend made a banner for our neighbor. Note to self: if I'm going to keep doing these pictures a day I should monitor what Carter wears a little more closely. Goof-ball!

POTD: Bailey

Our friends, the Marchants, got a new yorkie puppy and my boys are in love! We went over to meet Bailey and now they ask every morning if they can go visit Bailey.

POTD: Picture Wall

We added these pictures to the staircase going down to the basement not too long ago, and I'm loving them. We still have more to go, but I love going downstairs now.

POTD: Shoe Obession

It's already started. This girl LOVES shoes. She empties my closet daily and is always wearing someone shoes and changes them minutely (is that a word?). Her favorites: my red peek-toe pumps and Carter's crocs. Tonight we had my family over for lasagna and she alternated between my mom's snow boots, my grandma's shoes and my dad's boots. She was also nice enough to hand out shoes to all of us to wear too.

POTD: First Pig Tails

Paige sporting her first full piggy tails. We've done the mini pig tails on top (that the boys call her antlers), but this is the first time we tried full ones. They were a hit.

POTD: Three Monkeys In My Bed

Ever since my in-laws gave me a heated matress pad for Christmas (with dual controls...it's awesome) I keep finding these little monkeys in my bed. Ty loves to climb in in the morning when he wakes up and turn the dial up to "high." No school today, so the they enjoyed some toons in my bed. (Yes, Paige does occassionaly wear clothes).

POTD: Pretty Princess

Her Uncle "Pops" would be so proud.

During the rush of getting Ty off to school, Paige disappeared for awhile. When she came down the stairs she had Ty's hair paste ALL over her hair and face. She was so proud that she did her hair all by herself. I'm so sad this picture doesn't really show off all the paste she used, but she's holding the evidence in her hand.

POTD: American Idol

Yep, Keith and I are dorks and love to watch the the auditions. I know, many of you can't watch the auditions because you feel too bad, and I do feel bad sometimes, but I still am entertained. No, I have never voted for anyone on the show. Okay, so I voted once many seasons ago for a guy I went to college with, but that's it.

POTD: Little Monkey

This is how my sweet little girl eats dinner:

She is such a monkey! It was cute, when we were eating and Paige decided to sprawl across the table to get a piece of bread Keith said, "Well, aren't you going to grab your camera for the picture of the day?" Guess he's caught the bug too.

POTD: The List

I was cleaning Ty's room the other day and found this:

It's a "good list/bad list." The other day when I found it, Keith, Carter and I were all on the bad list. I just chuckled to myself but didn't say anything to him. Fast forward to today, Ty came to me after church and said, "Look Mom, I moved you to the nice list today." Wonder what I did. Notice Keith is still on the bad list. Hmm...

Funny side story: apparently Keith had a list too when he was young, only his was called "The Official S*** List." Who would expect anything else.

POTD: Sledding at the Rec

Keith and I took the boys sledding today and had a blast, but of course, forgot the camera. Lovely.

POTD: Snow Day

The best part about being snowed in...warming your toes by the fire. Keith taught the kids this and they love it.

What am I listening to now? This great new musician (yep, still in his p.j's at 1pm)! Not pictured: his band mates, Ty on the guitar and Paige on the piano.

Picture A Day

Yep, I've jumped on the "picture a day" band wagon. My goal is to take 1 picture every day that captures our life and I'm going to do my best to share them here.


Here are a few from the last few days:

We started ice skating lessons, because Ty wants to play hockey (hoping that desire fades...):

New Year's resolution #5: Eat less sugar and processed foods, more veggies and whole foods:

Ty comes upstairs to me the other day and says, "Mom, we have a problem." I calmly reply, "What's the problem?" to which Ty replies, "Paige is naked on your table." Yep, I went down to the craft room and found this: Paige naked (she was fully dressed last I saw her) on my craft counter (picture has been modified to make it non-pornagraphic):
