POTD: This Week

POTD: Boys.
These boys play together everyday they can. It's so great having neighbor buddies!


POTD: Buddies
Keith and I got to go to lunch at Ty's school today. The kids were all about posing for pictures with their arms around eachother. The line is way longer, but I forgot to switch my camera lense before I went so I couldn't zoom out.

POTD: Two.
That's how old this cutie is going to be. Here's a sneak peak of the birthday extravaganza.

POTD: Naps.
This is what happens during nap time at our house now. I put Paige down for a nap (IN her crib) and went outside to play with the boys. Two hours later I'm cleaning up around the house and hear men talking in her room. That's weird...I didn't put her radio on...I look in to see this:
At first I'm worried she fell while trying to get out, but then I realize the high heels...she was not wearing high heels when I put her in her bed (notice the pile of toys too, those were not there two hours ago). My two boys never climbed out of their crib...Never. Leave it to this girl!

POTD: Graduation

Carter "graduated " from preschool today. (funny since we decided not to send him to kindergarten for another year...anyways...). He was so cute during his program. We could hear him singing above all the others. This was Ty's shot of the family. Atleast he got the important one.

POTD: Flowers.

I love my yard. I do not have a green thumb at all, but thankfully my husband does and his yard is beautiful. After being here six years everything is starting to mature and fill in and is so pretty! Really love that I can see these from my sink window.

POTD: Church Talent Show (the picture of my boys doing their Tae Kwon Do turned out not so good, so I'm posting this instead...this family never disappoints!)

POTD: Accessorizing (yep, I have no idea how to spell that, but this girl can sure do it!)

POTD: Bridal Shower. Had a chance to catch up with some long time friends from high school at Gina's shower. So happy these girls are still in my life!

POTD: Oh, and this too...

Made chocolate covered strawberries for all the mom's we love...


And danced are butts off at my niece's school's family day...

Babysitting. I babysit this little girl and her brother once a week and Paige LOVES her. She wakes up from her nap asking for her.

Wednesday playgroups at the park. She had a good time...I swear!

I have had the pleasure of watching my good friend, Yvonne's, sweet little girl lately and Paige adores her! Don't worry, Yvonne, I didn't make her take a nap on the floor, she is just doing her resting thing.

Went on a girls weekend to Pittsburgh for Time out For Women, and can you believe, these are the only two pictures I took? One of my empty plate at Ikea (before the picture there were the most delicious $0.99 swedish meatballs ever!) and our taxi driver...

Ty's "collection of stuff" in his room. Whenever I clean I always love to see what I'm going to find here...this week apparently the twenty straws from Ci-Ci's and his twigs from the park were really important to him.

Our latest home improvement project...stay tuned.

Happy Mother's Day!

Today probably ranks as one of my best Mother's days.

It started last night when I put the boys to bed and they wanted to rub MY back and sing to me...because it was "Mothers day eve."

This morning my Ty guy came in to our room at 6:30 am to wake Keith up because he wanted to make me breakfast.

I came down to a delicious homemade breakfast, a new Vera Bradley purse (thanks Keith) full of homemade goodies from my boys and a new bumbles watch band.

I went upstairs to all the beds made..."all on my own [ty] because that's usually your job."

After church my FIL treated us to a delicious brunch...my favorite!

We always try to take some pictures on the golf course after eating. Today was cold and windy, so we didn't last long...





The gang: This is what happens when you ask the starter to take the family picture: lots of blurry faces. No there is not something white on my camera lense, some people aren't comfortable with the blogging world.

Unfortunately, in the hurry to get out of the cold, I didn't get a planned picture with my mom. Luckily, I snapped this one as we were walking out. Doesn't she look great?! I am so fortunate to live close to my mom. She is always looking for ways to help make my job as a mom and wife easier. Today, when I'm supposed to be showing her how grateful I am for her, she gave me a gift for being a good mom...Thanks mom, for everything!!
