Secret Service

There has been a invisible someone sneaking around my house doing random acts of service, leaving nothing but these:

One on Carter's freshly made bed and cleaned room:

One where Paige's toys had been:

One where I had left Paige's dirty diaper.

Best I can tell, he's about 4 feeet tall, between the ages of 4 and 6 and the sweetest little guy you'll ever meet. I hope I find him soon to give him a gigantic hug and kiss. I love him!

Rollin'

This little girl is so proud of her new trick. She's been on the verge of rolling forever now, with an occassional roll here and there, but nothing permanent. If she did happen to roll onto her stomach (or you pulled her into position) she immediately flipped back to her back. Until this week...

Now maybe we can get rid of that bald spot...

Now everytime you put her on her back, she flips to her stomach. Tonight I couldn't even get her pajamas on, as you can see...

Today while I was vacuuming I set her down on Ty's floor (on her back) while I vacuumed down the hall. I came back to find her on her stomach, wimpering herself to sleep. Man, I wish I had taken a picture before I rescued her.

Craft'n Afternoon

My friend, Stephanie, and I spent the afternoon working on some fun projects. This is all I can show right now, because they just might be Christmas presents...

The kids decided they needed some craft project of their own. Carter and Sophie picked out these horses and paint at JoAnn's.

Five Months With Bear

I love this little girl more and more each day!! I can't believe it has already been five months since she joined our family. She has changed so much and turned into such a wonderful addition to our home. She loves any attention, especially from her brother, Ty, plays with toys, loves food, starting to roll over and just SO precious!!

Young Women in Excellence

Most of you know that I volunteer with the 12-18 year old girls in my church each week. This week we had a special annual celebration (young women in excellence) to celebrate their accomplishments this year. For those of you who also are in YW, looking for ideas, this night turned out great! We created an "Oscar/Emmy Award" night, complete with red carpet and
envelopes with the "winners" names. The girls got all dressed up in formals and we had our scouts act as the paparazi. The night was a huge success.

One more night...

...of Halloween parties. Saturday night we partied with some neighbors at a couple parties.

First, Ashley and James hosted a great party for the whole family, complete with pony rides. Carter was in heaven!

Next, we put the kids to bed and Keith and I went over to Rob and Julie's for an their annual costume party. This year's theme was the 80's and was so fun (as usual with this group)! Yes, my outfit is authentic. My mom wore this when I was a baby and the headband was a Valentine's gift to her from my Dad.
