My Newest Cousin

My cousin Nikki and her family welcomed a new sister this week. I was so excited when Nikki asked me to come down and meet her this weekend and take a few pictures.

Nora looks just like her brother (and maybe a little like Paige?). She is beautiful!

Unfortunately, we spent too much time talking when I first got there so by the time we started to take pictures Nora woke up quickly wanting to eat and cuddled by her mommy. We were still able to snap a few good ones though.

Finally!

FINALLY a beautiful fall day! We just had to wait until November to get it!

Today we took a walk/ride through our "birdie trail" to collect branches for our thankful tree. I think this was the first day that we could enjoy a walk through the leaves without mud! Oh fall how I have missed you this year!


I normally have to twist Carter's arm to smile for a picture, but today he stopped at every tree asking me to take a picture of him. Of course his sister, the poser, had to get in on the action too. Had I known he was going to be in the mood for modeling I would have dressed them cute and matching and maybe done their hair!

Perfect. Fall. Day.

Not Going to Miss the Mud!

Ty guy finished his football season this weekend too. LOVED watching him play this year. Did NOT love washing mud every week! This was the wettest, muddiest season ever!
We decided to switch Ty to a different league this year. Although we missed friends we had made with the old team and we did not win a Superbowl championship this year, Ty really grew as a player this year and has turned into a really smart and valueable player!


The best part of the new league was playing with his cousin and having his uncle coach him (with Dad's help, of course).

This is what the entire season looked like (and this is the new "better" field that we played on the last game because the old field was "too muddy").

I would just like to thank who ever picked white pants for the uniform!

The End of A Great Season

Carter played his second season of flag football with the YMCA this year. I may have mentioned this before, but he is the man on the football field. He had a great season with Keith and his buddy's dad as his coaches.

Here he is scoring one of his many touchdowns of the season.

I need to have Keith upload the video of Carter juking (sp?) this kid. Awesome!



He had some pretty great (and handsome) fans too.

Trick or Treat

We had our usual chili/soup potluck with all our neighbors at our house again this year. Always fun and always delicious food!


Okay, so the pictures are out of order, but you get the idea...when we were done trick or treating the boys couldn't wait to dump and sort their candy.

All my pictures came out blurry because the kids were in constant high speed the whole night. Apparently we were slowing Carter down because he ended up running ahead of us with a buddy.

I loved Paige's squeals up and down each driveway!

Repunzel

I may be biased, but this might be the cutest Repunzel I have ever seen!

Pumpkins

With all the football games, practices and horrible weather just ran to a local nursery last minute after Tae Kwon Do practice to pick pumpkins this year.

Paige was so excited she just kept putting pumpkins in our wagon.

We let the kids do the pumpkin cleaning and carving all themselves this year (well, Paige had some help).

Carter took it very seriously!

Halloween at School

Paige had her first school party on Monday. Here she is with her little buddy, Jonah, who she talks about ALL the time!


Paige was so excited to be invited to a party with her 3-year old church friends, all by herself!



Carter had a costume parade at his school on Friday. He was the cutest (and only) warewolf there!
