Monday night my parents and brother came over for family night pumkin carving:

After work Wednesday, I ran over to Carter's school to help with his "Harvest Party".

Wednesday, Keith was in Chicago, so I took the kids to my Mom's work for a halloween party. This is what Paige for the first half of the party:

Ty, on the other hand, had a great time, I just have no pictures because I was in my mom's office with the sleepyheads!

Celebrating Halloween...

all week! The boys have already worn their costume 4 times and have enough candy to last them for a year, and it's not even Halloween.

Somethings In the Water

Sunday I had a chance to get together with some of my high school girl friends for Danielle's baby shower. It was great to get together with some of the girls and so fun to watch another friend prepare for her first baby, due on Christmas Eve!

My friend, Gina, met Paige for the first time:

Apparently something is in the water right now: I have 2 childhood friends, 3 college roommates, 2 neighbors, 2 sisters-in-laws, 2 cousins (that I know of), and 8 church friends pregnant! Congratulations everyone!

A Successful Season Completed

Trying to catch up...

Ty just finished his first season of football, and all-in-all, it was a success. Ty was a full one to two years younger than all the other boys in the league (he wasn't really old enough) and that considered, he did great. He learned a lot, played some offense, loved defense and was just happy to be on the team!! During his last game he had a run down the middle and was so proud of himself! His team (coached by Keith and his brother, Brian) won all but one game! Way to go, Cardinals!

The Verdict's In...

...Paige LOVES baby food!

We tried cereal last week...

and loved it immediately!

She gets so excited now when she realizes it's meal time. After the first bite she realizes what's happening and gets a huge grin and starts kicking and "talking." For those of you who are keeping tabs (I'm sure that's all of you, right?!)...she liked sweet potatoes tonight too.

Four Months With Bear

Four months, already! Wow! Well, that stats are in and Paige is weighing in at 13 lbs 5 oz. She has started laughing when you tickel her and when Keith talks like Donald Duck. She loves watching her brothers, watching her mobils, and just recently, sitting in her Bumbo seat. She tried rice cereal for the first time today and has graduated from bassinet in my room to her crib. We are so blessed to have this little girl in our family!

You go to the beach with your friends, the Marchants, and take each other's christmas card pictures. I can't "reveal" the good ones until December, but here is some of the fun we had in between real shots...

You attend the Homarama to tour seven AMAZING homes by area custom builders. It was a beautiful day and my mom and I had a blast planning our dream homes! We missed you Whitney!

You go to the pumpkin patch with your family to find the perfect pumpkin and take fall pictures--even if you boys are in desperate need of haircuts and your daughter has no use for looking at the camera.

You have a SNC movie night/pajama party with some of the neighborhood girls (Melissa totally out did herself with her yummy food and cute pink accessories, by the way)...

and you have a sleepover in the basement with Dad while Mom's gone...

I'm Back

and it feels so good!!!

I started back teaching kickboxing, and after a terrible first day (Ty's bus never came to pick him up, making me late dropping off Carter, late dropping off Paige and almost late to class...only to get to class and realize I brought the wrong key. Lovely) I had a great class today! It felt so good to teach again! It also felt great to sweat again! Now maybe I'll lose those last 15 pounds that have been hanging around, maybe.

Ty received his orange belt at Tae Kwon Do,

and my brother, Chase, came home from Texas and met Paige for the first time.

So Many Apples...

so many recipes to make! We made these this week:

Last night: Pork Tenderloin with Apples and Craisins (given to me by Yvonne Ashton):

1-1 1/2 lb pork tenderloin

2 Tbsp corn starch

2 Tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

2 apples--peeled, cored and sliced

2 Tbsp raisins or dried cranberries

Preheat oven to 400. Mix all ingredients together (I always double or triple the ingredients). Spoon around tenderloin in baking dish. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Spoon mixture over tenderloin. Bake uncovered 15-20 more minutes.

What do you do...

on a Saturday when you live with three boys (yes, I said THREE boys--Keith counts as one of the boys on Saturdays)? Spend all day watching them play sports. I told Paige she might as well get used to this...
