Kids Say the Darndest Things...

You have to love how children have a way of totally embarassing you without even knowing it. You know, like when they very loudly point out a very overweight person or tell you someone smells, all within ear shot of that person (both of which has happened to me).

The other day at Paige's doctor appointment, my boys did just that. We were walking into the office building, behind a little old grandma. As we come up close behind her Carter asks, very loudly, "Why she walking so slow, Mom?", which Ty answers, "Probably because she's so old, right mom?"

All this time I'm trying to "shhh" them under my breath, which they apparantly don't hear, so Ty continues to ask, "Is it because she's so old, Mom?," each time getting louder. Ugh.

I just had to hope that her old age made her hard of hearing too!
