Invitations for Ty's family Power Ranger party. I wasn't thrilled with the theme, but I actually think it is going to turn out pretty cute.

Just sent these to Costco to print and realized I invited everyone to his "birtday" party. Lovely! Oh well.

Invitations to Ty's friend birthday party. He chose a pirate theme for his friend party and Power Rangers for his family party. I think they turned out pretty cute. We delivered them all tonight (wasn't sure how to put them in the mail). Check that off my list.

Loving this...

My new summer centerpiece! I got this idea from my cute friend, who is always inspiring me with cute new projects. Man I miss her!

She actually saw it on Heidi Swapp's blog, who saw it in a Rachel Ray magazine, but we all have put our own spin on it and I love it!!

I set it up yesterday while the boys were napping and Ty was so excited when he woke up and found it!! We spent the rest of the afternoon creating "crafts" for his friends (and munching on Mike and Ikes)! So fun! I figure I'll change out the craft supplies every so often--right now there are popscicle sticks, pom-poms, and foam fish (along with crayons, colored pencils, paper and treats).

Smores and Caveliers

We had so much fun making smores Friday night with our friends and nieghobrs: Ed, Melanie, Kaliegh, Eric, Kelly and Bailey. It was a gorgeous night for relaxing outside with good friends and roasting marshmallows by the fire! The kids played great while the adults reverted back to their junior high days! Love summer nights!!!!!

Today we played at the pool, went to Trevor's (my nephew) baseball game, went out for icecream and cooked out with Keith's brothers and families. Tonight's the big game (game 6 for the CAVS/Pistons) so everyone's over to watch the game. Here's a quick shot of the boys with their cousin, Zach, waiting for the hotdogs to be ready. Well, I better go help cheer on our team--Go CAVS!

Had no car yesterday so the boys and I headed up to the pool for a mini "photoshoot." Carter was in no mood to sit still, but Ty was loving the camera attention.

Recovering and Dancing

Thanks for all who have been asking...my recovering is going just fine. Actually, having my wisdom teeth pulled wasn't near as bad as I planned. Just a little sore and swollen (my face looks like I do when I'm pregnant). I actually ate a normal meal Tuesday night and we went to Red Robin last night, so it is definitely not affecting my diet--unfortunately!

Beyond that, I just have to say how competely excited I am! My very favorite show is back on for another season this summer: So You Think You Can Dance. I don't know if I'm the only one, but I am totally addicted to this show!!!!! I love it. I haven't watched t.v is so long but I noticed my Tivo recording light was on last night and I was curious, so I turned it out, and to my very pleasent surprise, it was 2 hours of auditions for So You Think You Can Dance!!! Love that show! If you haven't watched it, you really need to. Even Kieth likes it. Some of the talent is amazing--I have to give props to all the Utah contestants representing! They did great!

Memorial Day

I love long holiday weekends. So nice to spend time with family, not feeling rushed to do anything or be anywhere, just enjoying the weather and company!

Sunday, after church, my parents and grandma came over for dinner. My mom brought delicious steaks from Costco! The weather was perfect, so we relaxed on the deck after dinner, watching the two cute families of ducks on our pond. One of my very favorite places to be is our backyard. Keith has done an amazing job to make it look nice and it is so peaceful and quiet!

Today was opening day for the pool, so of course we had to test it out. It actually was a great day to swim and the boys had a blast. It made me excited about the upcoming summer and our days at the pool with friends, but totally made me miss Karolyn and the kiddos!! It is going to be so weird to not spend all our days with them there!

Next it was over to the Marchants for a Memorial Day BBQ. So fun. The highlight of the party: Stephanie rented a snow cone machine for the kids. They were in heaven!!!

Tomorrow I get my wisdom teeth pulled. Not looking forward to that! Wish me luck.

Our Weekend--thus far

It has been a fun holiday weekend so far, unfortunately I don't have any good pictures!

Our nephew, Zach, celebrated his fifth birthday Friday and Saturday. Friday was his "friend" birthday party and Saturday was his party for the family. Ty was lucky enough to be counted in both groups, so we celebrated Spidey style on Friday and Power Ranger style on Saturday. It is so fun to see Ty and Zach together. Being just 13 months apart, they get a long really well and are best of friends.

Saturday was also very exciting because Keith's younger sister, Danielle and her husband, Antonio, welcomed their second daughter to our family. Gabriella Mae was born Saturday morning around 7 am. Danielle labored for 24+ hours before finally having a c-section. We are so happy mom and baby and doing good. She is adorable!! So mad I left my camera in the car when we went to visit her in the hospital yesterday. I'm looking forward to a mini photoshoot with her!

Last night I went over my friend, Janet's, house for a Stamp'n Up party. So fun to hang out with friends and craft. I can't wait for my new stamp set I ordered--"Office something."

Looking forward to Stephanie's Memorial Day picnic tomorrow.


One last thing...I had to post this picture from earlier this week. Carter cracks us up--he is such a pig!!! We took this picture Thursday night. We had taken the boys to Pizza Hut so Ty could use his Book-It coupon. Both boys ate their pizza, so we took them to Diary Queen for icecream. After we came home and changed in to p.j's, guess who was looking for more food? Yep--Mr. Piggy. He sat down and ate another whole meal: mac n' cheese and apples.

Even more funny: The next night we went out to a Mexican Restaurant with Keith's brother and sister (and families). Carter ate non-stop there (to no one's surprise). Ty was asleep at the restaurant and woke up just as we were leaving, so we promised him McD's (I know, very healthy weekend). We get to Mc Donald's drive thru, and guess who is hungry--again! A double cheeseburger later, Carter is finally satisified. I love this little Piggy!

Final Day in Disney: Epcot

Everyone can do a little happy dance--this is my final Disney post. Thank you for humoring me by reading all about our great trip!

We spent our final day in Florida at Epcot--my favorite of the parks. Here are a few highlights (we must have been worn out by this day--not as many pictures!)

The boys found more jumping fountians and were very grateful to cool off in them.

We were there during the Epcot flower show, and it was BEAUTIFUL! I'm not posting all the pictures we took, but the flowers were unbelieveable. There were also these awesome topiaries all around the park of the different characters. Very impressive!

This was the funniest thing--we were waiting for our group to all gather (both families--Keith and mine--were together the final day at Epcot) and this random girl came up to Ty in the stroller and started touching him. She rubbed his bare belly, touched his face and then kissed his stomach. Ty just laid there, looking at me like "What the heck is this crazy girl doing?!" Very wierd! And the girl's dad just stood there and watched the whole bizarre thing!

The boys were pooped! They both slept for a very long time--long enough for us to visit all the countries and eat an early dinner in Germany! Aren't they cute when they are sleeping? I think children take naps to remind their parents why we love the sometimes!

Disney Day 6: Pool Party Baby!

Wednesday was our day to recoup and hang out at the pool. The resort always has a pool party on Wednesdays--complete with a DJ, hula hoops and the limbo. Ty was pretty good at the hula hoop, but told me it hurt his side.





That night my family went to the luai (I have no idea how to spell that), so we got to hang out with the Bielozer clan. We went to the Disney boardwalk, where we at at the ESPN cafe and enjoyed the sunset and street performers on the boardwalk.







When we were leaving we went through a hotel with this giant couch--I couldn't resist snapping a quick shot (or ten) of the little guy on it.
