This past weekend didn't turn out as planned, but it all worked out. Because of the ALL DAY rain, Ty's baseball game Saturday night was cancelled (don't worry, his soccer game was NOT cancelled and he played/we watched in a complete downpour!) so we were able to go to our friends, Todd and Loni's, house for a fun cookout with a bunch of friends. I promised the girls there that I would post this recipe for the salad I brought, so here it is...enjoy!!
The Best Salad Ever with the Most Juicy Stuff In It
(my aunt's friend named it, and I think it is very appropriate!)
1 head romain lettuce, washed and torn
1 pkg. baby spinach, washed and torn
1 head iceberg lettuce, washed and torn
1 pkg bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 bunch green onions, sliced
3 or 4 hard boiled eggs, sliced
1 large can mandarin oranges, drained
1 pkg, craisins
1 pkg. sliced almonds (I love the honey or toffee flavored almonds)
1 pkg. crumbled blue cheese
1 bottle Brianna's poppy seed dressing
Mix all together just before serving because it can get soggy if you mix it too early.

Oh my gosh, Lexi... I am SO glad you posted this recipe! Both James and I loved this salad, but had no idea who brought it. It is really tasty! Thanks for sharing :)
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! That salad was awesome & I can't wait to make it myself - which I have to wait until I make it to the store, but with 3 kids, that doesn't happen very often.
