Finally

Finally our laptop and our home pc are communicating again and I can post. All week our pc decided that it didn't want to connect to the internet and our laptop decided it would connect to the internet, but would not read the home documents from our pc--where all our pictures are! So, needless to say, I haven't been able to post and have some catching up to do.

We've been enjoying the last days of summer break before school and all that fun starts again. First on the agenda--spend as much time at the pool as possible! This week and last, Aunt Whitney, Grandma Noll, Uncle B and Zachary all came to visit us at the pool for some last summer fun. The boys love the water and have gotten to be little fish this summer. The past month or so Ty has gained a lot of confidence and is swimming on his own (for the most part). His favorite at the pool is to dive for his rings and do canonballs on the "other side of the rope."

Carter's routine at the pool gos like this: Run into the pool before we can take off shoes or shirts and splash around for 1/2 hour. Then take a snack break. The snack break will usually last about an hour or more at which point he will swim for awhile longer before time to go.

The other night Keith and I had movie night with the boys. So dang cute those boys are!! They love to get their blankets and snacks and sit by daddy and "relax." Unfortunately the sitting and relaxing doesn't last too long!

Keith and I had a chance to escape parenthood a couple times this past weekend. Friday was Yvonne and Brian's annual "Stoli Doli" party (Keith and I obviously skip the stoli doli part) and Brian's 30 birthday party. It was fun to catch up with a lot of friends we hadn't seen for awhile. It was also our first time at their new house in Ohio City. It was very nice with a beautiful yard.

Saturday my high school reunion was cancelled (totally bummed about that!), but it made it possible to go to Keith's childhood friend's wedding. Most the Bielozers were there, along with some friends we don't get to see much, so tons of fun! No surprise, Keith didn't dance at all, but my brother-in-law, Orlando, has quite the moves!

Last night Keith and I went to the Indians game with a friend of his through work and his wife. Again, fun to escape for awhile, but totally missing the boys after all these nights out. Thanks to my mom and sister for all thier help with the babysitting!

Now Keith and I are watching a movie, the kids are both sound asleep early and we are gearing up for the first day of school! Til then...
