Solitude

No trip to Utah would be complete without a drive up the canyon. Dad was so excited to show Ty the mountains. Before heading off to the airport, we drove up Big Cottonwood Canyon to Solitude Ski Resort. Ty was impressed. He informed us that he wants Spiderman skis for Christmas.
It felt so good to be up there! I wished I could be skiing: the skis were blue, the sun was warm and the snow was perfect! Next time we will for sure plan time for a ski trip! For now it's back to Cleveland to teach Ty to ski on the bunny hills.

Hey Lexi, this blog of yours is really fun. I will have to re-promote you to all your cousins. Maybe everybody else is already checking in? Maybe I am the delinquent one. It is nice to see the pix of the "older generation" too. (i.e., your Dad.) Your Christmas report and this snow fun chapter make me want to link you into a little AV I just made of some our grand children on New Years Day. We were sledding (not skiing this time) just down the road from your Solitude photos. Monday (Holiday) I get to go skiing with Rochelle, Brent and their two oldest. It's cool that Les wants your kids to know that fun too. Is Keith a hotdog/pro on the slopes like your Dad is?
