It's a Sad Day For Me...

I'm crazily trying to catch up on all my pictures from all our summer trips and other fun, but meanwhile, I'm totally bummed to have to do this, but...

Keith has insisted I go private.

He's wanted me to for awhile now and I've been resisting, but I don't think I can put him off any longer. He's finding all kinds of blog horror stories online and is pretty insistent now.

I'm bummed because I like that old friends or friends of friends can find me and see what's happening in my life. I definitely don't want to lose any of my readers now, so here's the deal...

Ty's Family Pool Party

We celebrated Ty's birthday as a family at the pool again this year.

I know it's not really about her, but she's too cute not to post.

She may not have dug into her own birthday cake, but she was loving Ty's icecream cake!!!

Ty Guy's Birthday Wii Tournament

Since Ty' s obsessed with the Wii, it seemed only fitting to have a Wii party.


Each guest had a name tag with their "Mii" that Ty created.

Favors were Wii controller candy dispensers.

The tournament prizes. Prizes were given for the team with the best score in baseball homerun derby, bowling and shooting.

We had Wii's set up on three T.V.s and the teams rotated to each game.

Golf Lessons

Ty was so excited about starting golf lessons this year with his cousin, Zach. It is so fun to see my kids running and riding around on the same course that I grew up on! Carter and Paige had fun riding the carts and tractors with Grandma Noll while the big boys were golfing.

Father's Day

I'm not sure how I missed taking a picture of Keith with all the kiddos, but had to post these couple. And to think, he was scared of having a girl! This little sweetie has stolen her dad's heart!

I'm so grateful to Keith for the father he is to our children. He loves these kiddos more than anything and they adore him. He is a devoted father who knows how to have fun. We are all blessed to have him in our lives!

Duct Tape Parade

A few weeks ago I made a last minute decision to take the kids to the Duct tape parade in a nearby city. It was really fun. All the floats were made out of duct tape--how cool?!

Strawberry Picking

Every June I take the kids strawberry picking. This year we went after zoo camp with my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and nieces and nephews. The strawberries were small, but still delicious.

Later that week Carter and I made very yummy strawberry jam while Ty was at camp. Carter was a super masher!

Watch out!

Eight Years

Wow, eight years! Keith and I were married eight years ago on June 13th. Hard to believe that we've been married for eight years and even harder to believe we've been a part of each other's lives for 15!!

Our boys were excited to take our anniversary picture and more excited for me to post all three of them. So grateful to my parents for watching the kiddos so Keith and I could enjoy a totally romantic, totally delicious meal at a small french restaurant on the river. I fell in love with the little town!

This is what most of the guests ended up doing. They boys love fishing in our backyard.

The kids LOVED the cupcake bar! Smart move moving it into the kitchen, Keith.

The birthday girl. I didn't have her wear her pettiskirt because she couldn't crawl around in it (she started walking a day after her party!)

The cake. I was sure she was going to be my first to dig right into the cake, but I was wrong, but she did enjoy sticking her fingers into it.

She loved her Itty Bitty Baby American Girl Doll from Grandma Noll. She cradled it and gave it "loves" all night.
