Utah Trip: Day 5

The boys loved seeing Whitney's new house and Rexburg, but they were counting down until they could see Kecia's girls again. We had promised the kids a trip to Build A Bear so we took them the next day.

The boys were so excited! I gave each boy a price range to stay in and Ty took it very seriously. He really wanted the skate board and helmet he had seen in the catalog, but it was too much with the monkey he wanted, so after much deliberation, he choose the less expensive bear so he could get all the accessories. Carter on the other hand chose the monkey and gave up the helmet. He was able to get this cute carrier and it was perfect for him. He wore this almost 24/7 the rest of the trip.

Here's Bree and Paige in one of the many coordinating outfits they had. It's amazing that Kecia and I have lived apart from eachother for over nine years now and still buy the same things--just like when we were together in college! Paige and Bree's closets were almost identical.

Later that night we went to watch my two cousins, Brett and Jess, or Carter's "buddies" wrestle. They wrestled awesome and my boys loved every minute of it.

Paige liked it too, even if her coat was too big.

Later that night we had an American Idol party.

All the excitement was a little too much for my boys.

Utah Trip: Days 3 & 4

Okay, this is getting exhausting! Will I ever get caught up?....

Tuesday after watching this:

all the girls went to my favorite restaurant (Cafe Rio) before Whitney and I headed up to Idaho with our kids.

We first went to Whitney's in-law's for dinner and Paige got to meet Presley's other cousin. We tried for a group shot.

We had to get a picture of the girls in their matching p.j.'s that night, hanging out in Presley's pack-n-play. Love this one with each of them playing with their feet.

The next day we started it off with a quick photo shoot of the girls in their matching outfits (bought independently of each other). Whit, here are the pictures you've been waiting for:

I didn't mean to post this picture, and somehow I posted it twice.

After we took the boys on a "Rexburg Safari" hitting all my favorite hotspots and seeing how much the city has changed since I was there. We made sure to stop at the new Rexburg temple before heading back to Salt Lake.

Utah Trip: Day 2

Monday we took all the kids to a great dinosaur museum, but while we were waiting for everyone to get ready, we had to snap some pictures of these two little friends/cousins. Bree loved having Paige around to play with and Paige loved all the attention!



We met my mom's best friend from high school and her daughters at the museum. It was so fun to see them again and laugh at our moms.

The kids were so happy to have my cousin, Brett, off of school to play with them. Wish I could bring him home with us, he was so helpful!

Utah Trip: Day 1

I treated the kids and I to a trip to Utah and Idaho for my 30th birthday and it was the best present ever! We traveled with my mom to visit family and see my sister's new house. The kids and I stayed at my cousin/best friend/college roommate/partner-in-crime, Kecia's house with her family. Kecia and I roomed together in college (until she up and got married) and we were pretty much inseperable during those years. We were known as "K&A" and were a package deal for the most part. We had some of the very best times together those years and still love to get together! I just wish is was more than once a year!!

Be prepared for many pictures to come, because I don't know how to take just one of any event.

The first full day there, my cousin was leaving for a church mission to Brazil, so we got together with LOTS of extended family to celebrate and wish her farewell. The boys absolutely LOVED being with all these new cousins.

Carter was in heaven wrestling with his new "buddies," Brett and Jess.

Ty was in heaven playing Rockband all day. He has completely masterd "Dead or Alive" now.
