Maple Sugar Time

Keith's family has a long standing tradition of going to Burton, Ohio for the maple festivities every February/March.  This year a bunch of us were able to go together and we had perfect weather! The kids were even able to play outside with no jackets.  We always start the day off with an all you can eat pancake and omlete breakfast and then, weather permitting, we explore the town.

It wouldn't be a trip to Burton without making our own maple candy from the syrup they harvest.

This year the horses were out so we got to pet and feed them too.

We ended the day with a VERY MUDDY, but fun hike with the family and finished it off with Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies from Grandpa.  Paige was "in-charge" of the cookies and was very particular in whom she shared with.

Another beautiful and fun time in Burton!
